Generation 1 · link grade confirmed

Itzko (Itsko, Itzik) Sherayzin

born about the 1770s
Karolin (near Yelsk), Mozyr county, Minsk province

Life

The earliest name on the direct line. He is known from his son's patronymic, “Zelik Itskov” (Zelik son of Itsko), in the 1858 Karolin/Yelsk revision; Instinct grades that link confirmed. No record of Itzko himself has been read, and nothing yet links him to the older Karolin households (Volf Serayzen, Yankel' Meer, Vol'ko son of Dovid). Those stay candidates, shown separately on the tree.
