Moses Sheraizen — later Morris Rosen
born 15 March 1888
Mozyr → New York → Philadelphia
Life
Born in Mozyr. He sailed to New York on the SS Columbia in July 1905 to join his “uncle Dr. M. V. Leof” in Philadelphia. That is the Leof family Dwore married into, which hints at kinship. He was a watchmaker and salesman. He married Masha Prizant in 1913, had daughters Claire (1914) and Miriam (1919), and changed his name to Rosen in 1925. His parents are given as “Hyman”, dead by 1913, and Mary “Bonion”. The link to the tree is unproven.
